Meet Lindsay DuBois
Born in Brazil and raised in the Mid-Hudson Valley I have worked many years in human services from international flight attendant to clinical social worker. I’m all about listening to your goals and earning your trust and respect. What I love about real estate is that I get to keep reliving one of my favorite experiences, the thrill of the hunt for that special place to call home. When I think of it, my entire career history has been about getting people home in some form or another. I feel very comfortable in my role as realtor. The people skills just come naturally to me. I love making a living doing what is in my nature to do - connecting, negotiating, supporting and helping you to make informed decisions. These skills have me made a multi-million dollar producer.
Being a lifetime resident of the Hudson Valley and a seasoned traveler gives me confidence to say this region is one of the great places of natural beauty in the world. Having traveled much I enjoy returning to New Paltz, my home. I feel very lucky to be surrounded by the beautiful Catskill Mountains and the Shawangunk Ridge and to revel in the richness of the cultural landscape that is just 90 miles from New York City. I am surrounded by five major educational institutions: SUNY, Bard, Vassar and Marist College, as well as The Culinary Institute of America. Each of these institutions enhances the community vastly. It's difficult to find a bad bite to eat here and there is no end to activities including enjoying the arts, numerous weekend fairs, as well as hiking, biking, rock climbing, skiing, and swimming in the mountain lakes. The diversity and culture here makes this area a great place to raise a family or to have a second home.
When I am not working in real estate I am a wife and a mother of a teenager. I am quite immersed in the community and all that it has to offer to my family. I enjoy spending time with friends, partaking the local eateries, biking, hiking, yoga and ethnic dance. My interests include the arts, design, architecture and cuisine.
